We love having the opportunity to meet needs, especially when it is for the students in our community. Free tutoring services is a need in our community -- more specifically, providing students with a structured place to sit and focus so that they can complete missing work! Either way, we are excited to continue this initiative this Spring.
The really exciting news though?? We have permission to tutor at the high school! This means that the students will not need to worry about transportation or needing to checkout a Chromebook. We are so thankful for the opportunity to move our tutoring sessions to the high school as we believe this is truly what is best for the students!
Our high school needs tutors for all core subjects to include Mathematics, English, Science, History, and Spanish! Tutoring will be every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Manchester High School. We will provide a snack for the students and then they will get started with their school work!
We need people who are willing to work with students and be a welcoming face. Even if you do not think you are a subject expert, we have plenty of places for you to serve. Whether you are a retired educator who can provide academic help or just someone who wants to build relationships with the students in our community, there is a spot for you. If you are interested, please reach out to Alyssa or Carter Barrow. You can also stop by the Information Hub or contact the church office!

NOTE: Since tutoring is being moved to the high school, all volunteers will have to have a background check through Meriwether County School System. There will be no exceptions as we want to ensure the utmost safety for our students!
